Luss Free Church was formed at the Disruption, with services first at Arnburn, later at Bandry, where a church was erected in 1844. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Bandry (Luss), which united with Luss St Mackessog's as Luss in 1940. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Dumbarton and the synod of Clydesdale. |
