Aberdeen (St Andrew's Street) St Paul's Relief Church originated with the construction of a church in St Andrew's Street, opened in 1803 or shortly thereafter. In 1805 the congregation applied for admission to the Relief Presbytery of Perth, and the first minister was ordained two years later. It passed successively to the United Presbyterian Church, as St Paul's, the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, and united with Aberdeen Bon-Accord as Aberdeen Bon-Accord St Paul's in 1962. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery and synod of Aberdeen. |
