Aberdeen North Free Church began at the Disruption when the minister of the North parish took a large part of his congregation into the Free Church. A church building was erected soon afterwards. It passed successively to the United Free Church, with a new church on the same site, dating from 1905, and to the Church of Scotland. Aberdeen North united in 1968 with Aberdeen King Street as Aberdeen North of St Andrew. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery and synod of Aberdeen. |
