Tillicoultry North was originally Tillicoultry Free Church formed after the Disruption in 1843. A church was opened in the following year. The congregation became part of the United Free Church in 1900 as Tillicoultry North. In 1912 the church was united with Tillicoultry South.The Kirk Session functioned in a similar way to Sessions of the Church of Scotland. |
