Dunnet Free Church was sanctioned in 1843 and acquired a settled minister, with a church and manse in the following year. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Barrock, which united with Dunnet as Dunnet in 1937. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Caithness and the synod of Ross, Sutherland and Caithness. |
