Inchinnan Free Church was formed by a group of adherents in 1843. They worshipped in a barn until 1849, when a church was built. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Inchinnan Park, which was linked with Inchinnan Old from 1933 to 1938 and in the latter year united with it as Inchinnan. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Paisley and the synod of Clydesdale. |
