Aberdeen, Union Free Church had been a quoad sacra church whose minister, with most of his congregation, adhered to the Free Church at the Disruption. The church was then put up for sale and purchased by the congregation. It passed to the United Free Church, but was reduced in status and merged with Aberdeen Bon-Accord under that name in 1911. The United Free charge was in the presbytery and synod of Aberdeen. |
