Errol Free Church began at the Disruption, when the minister and many of his congregation adhered to the Free Church. It passed to the United Free Church as Errol Grierson Memorial, which united with Errol West as Errol United Free in 1912. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Perth and the synod of Perth and Stirling.
