Portmoak and Flockhouse Free Church was formed at the Disruption, when the minister and a large part of the congregation adhered to the Free Church. A new church and manse were erected at Portmoak. It passed to the United Free Church at the union of 1900, but in 1908 Portmoak united with Balgedie and Flockhouse became part of Glencraig and Lochore. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Dunfermline and Kinross and the synod of Perth and Stirling. |
