New Cumnock Bank Free Church served a mining district about 2 miles from New Cumnock, Ayrshire. Regular services were established in 1874, the charge was sanctioned three years later and a permanent church building was opened in 1900. The congregation transferred to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland in 1929. As a CS charge it was in the presbytery and synod of Ayr. |
