Marykirk Free Church as formed at the Disruption, with a church building erected in 1846. The charge was sanctioned in the following year. It passed to the United Free Church and united with Muirton as Marykirk and Muirton United Free in 1917. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Brechin and Fordoun and the synod of Fife and Angus. |
