Dundonald United Free Church, Ayrshire, originated in 1843 as a Free Church. A church building was erected in the same year and renewed in 1885. The congregation transferred to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland (as Dundonald St Andrew?s) in 1929. In 1942 it united with the former established church (then Dundonald St Giles?) as Dundonald. The church became the church hall of the united parish. As a CS charge it was in the presbytery and synod of Ayr. |
