Shieldhill Church was formed as a congregation of Free Church of Scotland with the name Muiravon Free Church. It entered the Church of Scotland in 1929 but the charge was vacant from 1943. It was then linked with Blackbraes until 1958. This linkage was dissolved and the church linked with Polmont South on 16 February 1958. Again this linkage was dissolved and it became linked with Polmont North on 10 September 1961. Linkage dissolved and united with Blackbraes on 1 November 1963 as Blackbraes and Sheildhill Church of Scotland. |
