Craigs Church, Stirling was erected in 1783. Also known as Cameronian Kirk it was part of the Reformed Presbytery which had been formed by the Covenanters in 1743. Craigs was one of the Reformed Presbytery churches to become a Free Church in 1876. In 1900, on the union of the Free and United Presbyterian Churches, Craigs became Craigs United Free Church. The congregation joined with that of the Peter Memorial Church, Park Terrace (Stirling St Columba's) in 1909 and the building vacated. |
