Edinburgh, Queen Street Free Church was the result of the union of St Luke's Free Church and Tolbooth Free Church in 1891. The united congregation worshipped in the St Luke's building, which was in Queen St. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, and united with St George's in 1964 to form Edinburgh St Andrew's and St George's. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Edinburgh and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. |
