Prestonkirk Free Church began at the Disruption, when the minister and many of his congregation adhered to the Free Church. A church building was erected in the same year. The congregation passed to the United Free Church as Prestonkirk St Andrew's, which united with Prestonkirk East Linton North in 1910 as Prestonkirk United Free. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Haddington and Dunbar and the synod of Lothian. |
