Eglinton Street United Free Church, Glasgow, began with a United Secession congregation in Gorbals, who built a church at the intersection of Eglinton Street and Bedford Street (opened 1825). This became successively Eglinton Street United Secession, United Presbyterian and United Free Church. It terminated in 1920 on uniting with Elgin Street United Free as Eglinton Elgin United Free. |
