St George?s United Free Church, Glasgow, began at the Disruption, when the minister and most of the congregation of St George?s Church left to join the Free Church. They built a church at West Regent Street, but later moved west to Elderslie Street at Berkeley Street, as St George?s Free (later United Free) Church (new building dedicated 1865). The church terminated in 1909 on uniting with St Peter?s as St George?s and St Peter?s. |
