Clydebank, Radnor Park United Presbyterian Church was established in the 1880s, through mission work in the area, which was then a township between Clydebank and Dalmuir. It was recognised as a regular preaching station in 1890 and the first minister was ordained in 1891. It passed to the United Free Church as Radnor Park. The church was damaged by fire in 1909, but repaired and re-opened in the following year. The Church of Scotland church was heavily damaged by enemy action in 1941, but again repaired after the war. The charge is in the presbytery of Dumbarton and was in the synod of Clydesdale until the abolition of synods in 1993. |
