Crieff Free Church in the Presbytery of Auchterarder was formed at the Disruption in 1843. They continued to worship in the parish church until 1848 when a new church was erected in Commissioner Street. A manse was built in 1863 and a new church in 1882. In 1900 following the union of the Free Church with the United Presbyterian Church, the church became Crieff South United Free Church. In 1929 when the United Free Church joined the Church of Scotland, the charge became Crieff South Church of Scotland. In 1964 Crieff South was united with Monzievaird and Strowan Church under the name of Crieff South and Monzievaird. In 1997 Crieff Church of Scotland, Presbytery of Perth, was formed through the amalgamation of Crieff St Andrew's and St Michael's Church and Crieff South and Monzievaird Church. |
