Carntyne Old Church, Glasgow, originated from Free Church missionary activity based on Sandyhills in the 1870s. The church, in Shettleston Road at Wellshot Road, was built in 1893 as Carntyne Free Church, and later successively served United Free Church and Church of Scotland congregations.
