In 1900 following the union of the Free Church with the United Presbyterian Church to form the United Free Church, this charge became Clola United Free Church. In 1924 Fetterangus church was linked to Clola and the united charge was known as Clola and Fetterangus United Free Church. From 1929 when the United Free Church joined the Church of Scotland, the church became Deer Clola Church of Scotland. In 1931 the charge was linked with Deer Stuartfield and from 1945 until 1975 with Ardallie Church. On 4 May 1974 Deer Clola was united with Ardallie and with Deer churches under the name of Deer Church of Scotland. |
