The Tullibody United Free congregation began as a Free Church formed at the Disruption from a section of the Alloa congregation. It became part of the United Free Church in 1900 and joined the Church of Scotland in 1929. The congregation used two church buildings; St Mungo's, Alloa and St Serf's, Tullibody. Services were held on alternate Sundays until 1951, when it was agreed that St Serf's should be used primarily for worship and the St Mungo's building for other church purposes. |
