Govan Copland Road Church, Glasgow, originated with Secession church mission work in Govan in the 1820s, and became successively Govan United Secession Church, Govan United Presbyterian Church and Govan Copland Road United Free Church. It terminated in 1930 on uniting with St Columba Gaelic as St Columba?s Copland Road. The church building, in Copland Road at Govan Road, was erected in 1847 and replaced in 1870. |
