Cambridge Street Church, Glasgow, began in 1833 when a group of members of the Secession Church formed a congregation and began to build a church in Cambridge Street, near New City Road, completed the following year. It became Cambridge Street United Presbyterian (later United Free) Church and was eventually terminated in 1968 on uniting with Bishopbriggs Springfield as Bishopbriggs Springfield Cambridge. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
