Langside Hill Church, Glasgow, originated in a Free Church preaching station established in 1882, which later developed into Langside Free (later United Free) Church. It terminated in 1979 on uniting with Battlefield East (I) as Battlefield East (II). The first church, built in 1883, was followed by a successor in Langside Road (dedicated 1896). As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
