1855-1900 - St Rollox United Presbyterian Church was formed in June 1855 following a petition from St Rollox and Garngad to the United Presbyterian Presbytery of Glasgow, stating that mission activities had been conducted in the area for two years, with an average attendance of 100 during the day and 150 in the evening, and requesting that they be erected into a congregation. (From Small: 'History of the Congregations of the United Presbyterian Church 1733-1900', volume II, pp 84-85.) 1900-1929 - The church was renamed St Rollox United Free Church at the Union of the United Presbyterian Church with the Free Church in 1900. 1929 onwards - renamed St Rollox Church of Scotland at the Union of the United Free Church with the Church of Scotland in 1929.
