Admin history

Despite much opposition from local people a Free Church was formed at Kippen in 1843. This became a United Free Church in 1900. After the 1929 union with the Church of Scotland the church was known as Kippen Muirhead Memorial, after the second minister. Kippen was reduced in status in 1942 and united with Kippen Christ's Church in 1944.
