The church of the Reformed Presbyterian Congregation of Eskdalemuir, which sat within the Presbytery of Lockerbie, was erected in 1836 at Davington, approximately four miles from the parish church. From the time of the Disruption in 1843 the church was used for occasional service in connection with the Free Church, and in 1876 Eskdalemuir Reformed Presbyterian Church united with the Free Church of Eskdalemuir. |
