The Relief Theological Hall was opened for the first time on the 14th September 1824. In the first days of its existence meetings were held for the purpose of electing a committee for the superintendence of the library, and also for the formation of a prayer society. The hall met regularly until October 1843 when the session closed and from this time ceased to function as a Relief Hall. |
