In 1889 a number of people left the Parish Church in Cromdale and applied to the Free Church Presbytery for services. This application was accepted and the congregation became a station initially, and was subsequently fully sanctioned as Cromdale and Advie Free Church in 1893. At the union of the Free Church and the United Presbyterian Church in 1900 the congregation became Cromdale and Advie United Free Church. The charge then passed back to the Established Church in 1930, under the name of Cromdale Church of Scotland. |
