Wester Pardovan United Presbyterian Church was formed in February 1886. Following the union of the Free Church and the United Presbyterian Church in 1900, the charge became Wester Pardovan United Free Church, also erecting a Mission Hall in the village of Bridgend at this time. In 1944 the charge united with Kingscavil, a mission church attached to Linlithgow St Michael's, and became Pardovan and Kingscavil Church of Scotland. A further link was established with Winchburgh Church of Scotland in 1965, but this was dissolved in 1997, only for a uniting of these two charges to take place later in the same year to form Pardovan Kingscavil and Winchburgh Church of Scotland. |
