A movement was initiated in 1896 to provide a church in the Mile End district of the city which was rapidly being developed as a residential area. In 1900 the church was opened as a United Free church and passed to the Church of Scotland in 1929. In 2005 it was united with St Ninian's and became known as Midstocket Parish Church. |
