Archival history |
In March 1844 this congregation was organised in response to a request from local adherents of the Free Church. A missionary was appointed and the charge was sanctioned in 1859. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900, and united with Cromar in 1922, as Tarland and Cromar United Free Church. In 1929 the charge passed back to the Established Church under the name of Tarland South and Cromar Church of Scotland. A few years later in 1933 the Cromar section of the congregation united with Logie-Coldstone as Logie-Coldstone adn Cromar. A United with Tarland St Moluag's and Migvie 18 February 1940. |
