The Second Congregation of United Original Seceders, Pollokshaws, disjoined from the First Congregation on 25 October 1842. Many years later, at the General Assembly of 1956, the minister acceded to the Church of Scotland and it became known as Shawholm. It then united with Auldfield on 1 June 1965 to form Pollokshaws. |
