McCheyne Memorial congregation was sanctioned as a charge of the Free Church of Scotland in 1871 from a mission station begun in 1857 by St Peter's Free Church. It became McCheyne Memorial United Free in 1900 and McCheyne Memorial Church of Scotland in 1929.
In 1982 the congregation united with St Peter's as St Peter's McCheyne. In 1999 the congregation united with Roseangle Ryehill congregation as Dundee West. |
