Barrowfield Edgar Memorial Church, Glasgow, originated with mission work in Bridgeton by the Reformed Presbyterians, who built a church in Landressy Street in 1868 and came into the Free Church at the union of 1876 as Barrowfield Free (later United Free) Church. It terminated in 1932 as Barrowfield Edgar Memorial Church, on uniting with Bridgeton West as Bridgeton West and Barrowfield. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
