Old Deer Free Church was formed at Stewartfield immediately after the Disruption. A church was built in 1847 and the charge sanctioned in 1860. It united with Stewartfield United Presbyterian Church as a United Presbyterian charge in 1897. The Free Church charge was in the presbytery of Deer and the synod of Aberdeen. |
