Newton Stewart, Trinity United Free Church was formed in 1909 by the union of two existing United Free churches in the town, Newton Stewart Rutherford and Newton Stewart Trinity. It united with a third United Free charge, Newton Stewart York Road as Newton Stewart St John's in 1924. It was in the United Free presbytery of Wigtown and Stranraer and the synod of Dumfries and Galloway. |
