Rockvilla Church, Glasgow, began with United Presbyterian mission work in the 1870s, leading to the establishment of Rockvilla United Presbyterian (Mission) Church in 1877. This became Rockvilla United Free and joined the Church of Scotland in 1929 as Rockvilla. The church building was in Saracen Street (1890). The congregation terminated in 1965 on uniting with Possilpark (I) as Possilpark (II). As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
