Queen?s Cross Church, Glasgow, began with Free Church mission work in Maryhill, leading to the sanctioning of a separate charge in 1897. The church, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, is at Queen?s Cross and dates from 1899. The charge belonged successively to the Free and United Free Churches and from 1929 to the Church of Scotland. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
