Fraserburgh United Presbyterian Church began with evangelical services in 1862 and the formation of a small congregation in the following year. A church was opened and the first minister settled in 1875. It passed to the United Free Church as Fraserburgh Saltoun Place, which united with Fraserburgh West as Fraserburgh St Andrew's in 1918. The Saltoun Place church was then sold. The Church of Scotland charge, which was in the presbytery of Deer and the synod of Aberdeen, was dissolved in 1961. |
