Resolis Free Church was formed at the Disruption, when the minister and most of his congregation adhered to the Free Church. A church and manse were built, but on an inconvenient site, and were replaced in 1865. The minister and many of his congregation declined to enter the union of 1900. The charge was in the Free Church presbytery of Chanonry and the synod of Ross.
