Kirriemuir North Free Church began at the Disruption with the recognition of Free Church adherents from the North parish who had rented an old Relief church and were recognised as a congregation. They erected their own church building in 1846, and passed to the United Free Church as Kirriemuir North, but were dissolved in 1926. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Arbroath and Forfar and the synod of Fife and Angus. |
