Kirriemuir, Bank Street United Presbyterian Church originated with an application to the Relief Presbytery of Perth leading to the ordination of the first minister in 1831. It passed successively to the United Presbyterian and United Free Churches, before uniting with Kirriemuir West as Kirriemuir First United Free in 1914. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Arbroath and Forfar and the synod of Fife and Angus. |
