Irvine, Fullarton Free Church originated at the Disruption when the minister of Fullarton quoad sacra parish and a large part of his congregation adhered to the Free Church. It passed successively to the United Free Church, as Irvine Fullarton, and to the Church of Scotland, as Irvine Wilson Fullarton. The Church of Scotland charge was linked with Irvine Trinity in 1958 and united with it as Irvine St Paul's in 1963. It was in the presbytery of Irvine and Kilmarnock and the synod of Ayr. |
