Glasgow, Central United Free Church was formed by the union of St Luke's, St James' and Trinity in 1919. St James' was separated from the union in 1921. Glasgow Central passed to the Church of Scotland and united with Gillespie in 1950 as Gillespie-Central, which itself united with St Andrew's as St Andrew's in 1953. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
