Killin Free Church was created in the Presbytery of Breadalbane in 1843 and the church opened in 1845. The congregation joined the United Free Church in 1900 and from 1929, after the union with the Church of Scotland, was known as Killin Breadalbane. The congregation united with Killin St Fillan's in 1931 to form Killin Kirk Session.
