Admin history

Norrieston Free Church was established immediately after the Disruption of 1843. It became Norrieston United Free Church in 1900 and from 1927 the congregation worshipped in the parish church. In 1929 the congregation joined the Church of Scotland congregation. The former United Free church was converted into a church hall.The Kirk Session functioned in a similar way to Sessions of the Church of Scotland.
