Law Free Church began with services under Carluke in 1878. The church was built in the following year and the charge sanctioned in 1883. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Law North, which united with Law South as Law in 1940. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Lanark and the synod of Clydesdale. |
